Addison was born in Los Angeles, California at Kaiser Sunset Hospital on January 8, 2015. She was born with a left sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia, so her body was unable to oxygenate her blood on it's own. She was placed on a machine called, ECMO, that eventually caused internal bleeding that could not be controlled. She passed away at 33 days old at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles. Since her death, family members all have done things in her memory. There is also a hospital library in her memory for hospitalized children at Adventist Health in Bakersfield, California.
